Role of the Nurse Educator

You Are Here: Home / Resources / Role of the Nurse Educator

My role as nurse educator is to prepare and support associate degree students at Clark College as they attain the knowledge and skills needed to enter the nursing profession. An educator must have strong problem solving and communication skills to address the various learning styles of her students. Expertise in a content area is just the starting point; the educator fosters the student’s critical thinking skills. A nurse educator also acts as a resource of practical help so students can learn and grow.

“Knowledge is knowing that we cannot know.”

– Ralph Waldo Emerson

As an educator I love to take concepts and present them to students. I use power point as a means of organizing my presentation, feel free to watch them often and I hope you have a better understanding of the subject matter after viewing the slides. love to take health care concepts and break them down into easily understandable knowledge.
